Dr. Katie Rybak, MD

Dr. Rybak did her medical school training at Southern Illinois University. She then went on to do her Internal Medicine residency training at Loyola University. She has practiced in many different capacities of healthcare including Hospitalist medicine and most recently Primary Care. She is also the Medical Director at a local behavioral health organization. She is a member of American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), North American Menopause Society (NAMS), International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). She has been honored with the Castle Connolly Top Doctors Award for 2022 and 2023.

Wellness has always been a primary focus for Dr. Rybak for both herself AND her patients. She is so excited to spend the time with women to help them feel their best and live their longest and healthiest lives! She is a firm believer that the patient-physician relationship should be mutual and approached as a team effort.

Dr. Rybak loves to spend time with her husband and 3 kids supporting their many activities- especially soccer! In her spare time, she loves to run, do yoga and cook. She always has her head in the newest wellness book and loves to learn and share what she learns with her patients.

Amanda Eversgerd, FNP

Amanda is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from nursing school at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with summa cum laude honors. She went on to complete her graduate studies at Chamberlain University where she specialized in Family Practice. She has worked in the nursing field for 17 years. Most recently, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a local family practice serving patients of all ages.  She has done BHRT training through Worldlink Medical with the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children, usually attending one of their many extracurricular activities.

Having worked in family practice, she is excited to be able to offer treatment options and real solutions to women through Embody Her Health as a provider!

Melissa Koons

Melissa is our Patient Care Coordinator at Embody Her Health. She is originally from Chicago and studied at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Wellness, a master’s in Exercise Physiology, and has over 10 years of experience in personal training, coaching and mentoring.

Melissa has run multiple health-oriented businesses, developed health & wellness programs for communities, and taught as a college professor in the exercise science department at Lindenwood University, McKendree University and St. Charles Community College. Melissa is passionate about educating and helping others understand how physical activity and nutrition promote overall health, improve quality of life and increase longevity.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs! Additionally, she loves sports, gardening, cooking and staying up to date with the latest healthcare research to improve patient outcomes.

Julie Meier

Introducing Julie, our Administrative Assistant and the first beautiful face you will see when you walk into Embody Her Health.

She is a lifetime resident of the O’Fallon area and a graduate from St. Clare Catholic grade school, OTHS and went to college at Arkansas State University. She has spent the last 22 years as a realtor in our area and is currently still with RE/MAX signature properties. Julie is also a 15 year breast cancer survivor and has been a licensed yoga instructor for Moonbird yoga in O’Fallon since 2018. She loves to explore the mind, body and health and is passionate on her quest for a healthy lifestyle. Since her diagnosis in 2008, she believes in the mindset of living every day to the fullest.

Julie has two sons, one living with his wife in Denver, Colorado and one son living in Honolulu, Hawaii. She enjoys spending time with her sisters, friends and family and loves to travel the world sharing experiences with those she loves. She she also loves to cook, listen to live music and enjoys living her best life every day.

Dawn Kurtz

Dawn is our Marketing Director at Embody Her Health. She was born and raised in Belleville, IL. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, she got married and moved to O’Fallon, where her and her husband feel so blessed to raise their two wonderful children and Chihuahua.

Dawn has worked in the human resources world since she graduated and then decided to work part-time in the office at St. Clare School several years ago.  She has always had a passion and curiosity for all things health and wellness related and often spends her downtime reading the latest on how to maximize lifespan and healthspan.

Being a part of the Embody Her Health team is a natural fit for Dawn. She loves getting to work with women that are devoted to helping other women optimize their health, live their best lives and love the body they’re in!

Rachael Reinheimer

Rachael is our medical assistant/phlebotomist at Embody Her Health. Rachael’s passion for women’s health started in 2016 when she started working for a local obgyn office. She has almost 8 years of experience in women’s health clinics. Rachael has done a little bit of everything when it comes to women’s health issues. She’s very passionate about helping women and empowering them when it comes to taking charge of their health journey!
Rachael got married in 2022 and has two children. When she is not in the office, she loves to watch her children do their favorite sport, wrestling. You will always find her cheering them on from the sidelines and also helping out by being a wrestling coach . When they are not mat side, Rachael and her family love to go camping and boating.
